Email Setup Quick Guide

Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com (ie. if your domain name is yahoo it would be mail.yahoo.com)

Outgoing SMTP mail server: Use your ISP(Internet Service Provider) outgoing mail server. CLICK HERE for a list of ISP outgoing mail servers

Username: Your full email address

Password: Email Password

New Outlook Email Setup

Open Outlook email client.
Click on Tools-->Accounts

Click on add mail account

Type in your name.

Use the POP3 email setting

The incoming mail server will be mail.yourdomain.com 

The outgoing mail server will be your Internet Server Providers SMTP

COMMONLY USED ISP'S SMTP SERVERS

CINCINNATI BELL: smtp.fuse.net
TIME WARNER CINCINNATI: smtp-server.cinci.rr.com
VERIZON WIRELESS: vzwmail.net
VERIZON: ougoing.verizon.net
EARTHLINK: mail.earthlink.net

IF YOU DON"T SEE YOUR ISP ABOVE CLICK HERE

For your account name use your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS

Type in your email password

Do not use Secure Password Authentication the first time you try to setup the SMTP(outgoing mail server).  If you can't send once the email has been setup:

YOU MAY HAVE TO USE AUTHENTICATION. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ISP FOR THE AUTHENTICATION USERNAME AND PASSWORD

 

Editing an Existing Outook Email Account

Click on Tools-->Accounts

Highlight the mail account you want to edit.

Click on the PROPERTIES button

Make sure your name is entered and the email address is correct.

 

 

Click on the SERVERS tab to access the email settings.

Make sure that:

1) The incoming mail server is mail.yourdomain.com
2) The Outgoing SMTP server is your proper Internet Server Providers smtp server. (contact them or look at the list below) 
3) The Account name is YOUR FULL EMAIL ADDRESS

The outgoing mail server will be your Internet Server Providers SMTP

Click on the ADVANCED tab to check your port info.

1) The outgoing mail server should be on port 25
2) The incoming mail server should be 110
